Find Your NEW Legislative District

Late last month, the unicameral voted to approve new maps for Nebraska’s congressional and legislative districts. As you may know, every ten years lawmakers are required to redraw these and other administrative boundaries based on information gathered from the U.S. Census. What you may not know is that these new maps have already gone into effect; and yours may have changed!

Knowing your legislative district (or LD) is important will tell you two things: 1) Who your state senator is, and 2) Where you will caucus in 2012. Soon, we’ll be calling on you to join with your neighbors to form LD teams, working to organize your district in preparation for the 2012 Caucus and Primary.

To locate your LD:

  1. Type in your address INCLUDING zip code in the search bar of the map and click “Search.”
  2. Click anywhere near the marker that appears over your home. A label noting your LD will appear.
